Expect to be overfed here. The portions are good for 4 people, appetizers and main entries. Staff was all over us. Do not put your entire order in as they will bring your dinner seconds after bringing out your appetizers, server promised that would not happen but she still did it. They do try to move you in and out quickly, like cattle. Overall we enjoyed.
Atmosphere and staff are amazing - however the food is GROSS AND SICKLY. For two people, it is nice they give you a decent size table. A few vegetarian options which is appreciated. Would love to give this place a better review but the Penne a la Vodka made us sick within a few bites. You could say it is taste preference but no the amount of seasoning and garlic had us ready to vomit after signing the check. Had belly pain for the rest of the night.
Delicious! Family style Italian cuisine. Pricey, but really worthy! We ate at the Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville the night before and spent more for very low quality, so the prices here are much better especially when you consider the quality and quantity. We had the Caesar salad (so flipping good!) and garlic bread for appetizers. 100% get this salad, but the garlic bread you can pass on. It’s good, but not needed with the amount of food you get. Next we had the Chicken in lemon sauce (forgot the name) and Penne in Vodka Sauce. Both were 100% delicious. We wrapped up most of the order to go since it is family style and the platters were HUGE!! We capped it off with Tiramisu. This was fine, but not as good as mine. It needed more of an espresso flavor, but not worth loosing stars. Key things to remember, family style dishes so 1-2 for the 4 adults and the salad was far more than needed. Ask for tap water. It is filtered and just fine. I’d rather spend $12 for a glass of wine than a box of water. :) Try to sit on the patio. It’s super cute and my favorite vibe! if you are staying at Atlantis, you can charge it to your room. Lastly, there is a tip added, but you should always add a bit extra for the servers, especially if they were good. Love this place and definitely will come back!
Portions pretty big and it would be really nice to be able to have or the portions smaller or to be able to order halfs.
The shrimp pasta we ordered wasn’t the best,It was flavorless . We wanted to order desserts but having the portions so big,you have to order one dessert for 2-4 people and when everyone wants different dessert,you leave the restaurant without ordering the dessert at all.

The server made sure we were aware that the dishes were family-size 👍.
So for two of us plus a 4-year old we ordered only roasted broccoli, baked clams, an aglio olio angel hair, and barely touch the bread that came with inviting garlic butter.
By the end we finished probably only one third of the broccoli and the pasta. They both were delicious.
The clam dish was at sort of normal size. But this was dish that stopped me from giving it a 5 star review. The clams lacked fresh seafood umami and were quite tiny.
The restaurant is popular. Please make reservations to avoid disappointment.
Finally was able to get a reservation at Carmine's. Online they showed no opening till 3 weeks out. Last evening tried a walk in but the lady at the desk was not as friendly and place was crowded. Today tried again and were able to get a booking for 1 hour out ( better than 3 weeks 🙂)
The server was very friendly and nice. She told us that portion sizes were big and easy to share for family.
We ended up ordering 3 dishes for 4 of us and consuming about half of the food.
There were quite a few veggie choices. Eggplant parm was a multilayered dish, with very good taste and texture.
Cheese ravioli tasted nice, filled with ricotta, served on a bed of Marinara.
Chicken parm was two large pieces of chicken.
Everything about twice the portion size compared to usual italian place
The bread basket had 4 types of bread and most were nice.
Overall a very good experience
HUUUUGE portions. Either make sure you are eating for two or bring your whole tribe with you. Very yummy and quick service. Gave it a 4/5 only because the calamari wasn’t tasting the freshest. Everything else was great. Be prepared to either walk a mile after to get the food moving or take a nap from the food coma.
Italian family restaurant, portions are quite big. If going alone or 2 people then can be quite expensive and lot of food. I ordered eggplant parmigiana as an appetizer (was in that list), portion was almost for 6 people. Food taste was just okay type.
